Few days ago I went to see artist Jani Leinonen’s Taidetuunamo (art tuning carage) in front of museum of contemporary art Kiasma. Excellent idea: bring your crappy paintings and Jani will pimp your paintings
I only got disappointed, when I noticed someone else was doing the “pimping”. Maybe Jani just creates the ideas & signs masterpieces? Anyway, go and see the exhibition!

This is an amazing idea. Why didnt anybody think of it before. Can I have my concervative value-landscapes also pimped? Who is this Jani Leinonen and Bob Helsinki?

I took a painting to be tuned to the Carage and Jani Leinonen did “pimp” it himself. I think you can ask who is the “pimper” of your work. My work turned out to be bizarre but really good! I have heard there are so many works brought in that Mr Leinonen cannot tune them all himself.

Yes, I just noticed on the Taidetuunamo.fi website it says “the art tuning shop employs numerous Finnish contemporary artists”, but “the event” is marketed with Jani’s name. Guess it’s okay, but a bit disappointing.
Any concervative/non-concervative paintings can be pimped. I linked also Jani’s website to my post so you can check out who is he.
Marketing Agency Bob Helsinki, check out: http://www.bobhelsinki.com/ (don’t mind their website really looks like it’s Google, but it’s not, eh)
